The Sequoia Tourism Council hosted the Fall 2024 Concierge College on September 26, 2024, at the Tulare Galaxy Theater. Concierge College is a seminar coordinated by the Sequoia Tourism Council focused on training frontline hospitality professionals to maximize our visitor’s experience. STC is a regional collaboration of Chambers of Commerce, Destination Management Organizations, tourism industry partners, and the County of Tulare.
Attendees participated in workshops featuring our majestic Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and primary tourism assets. Presentations included the value of tourism, the economic impact of visitor traffic, as well as community-based tourism features and events from each of our incorporated cities and County communities. Keynote speakers included Holly Brown, Public Affairs Specialist for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and Nicole Stivers, Director of Marketing and Communications for Sequoia Parks Conservancy.
